Daniel Webster Wins Landslide Primary Election
Clermont, FL — Today, Congressman Daniel Webster, R-Clermont, won reelection to serve Florida's 11th Congressional District in the U.S. House of Representatives. With 85% of votes counted across Orange, Lake, Sumter and Polk Counties the Associated Press called Webster the winner. Webster once again won without saying or placing any negative ads about his opponents and despite hundreds of thousands of false attacks by one opponent who dropped out prior to election day.
“I am humbled by the overwhelming Republican support for my track record of fighting for conservative values, families, and small businesses, while standing up to Washington elites, and getting real results for my constituents in my district," said Webster. “I thank President Trump for his support of my campaign, my focus now shifts to making sure he is elected in November, putting an end to the Biden-Harris disastrous radical agenda! With President Trump in the White House come January, our country will be stronger, safer and hardworking Americans more successful. I can't wait to work with President Trump again to reduce government spending, secure our border, and make my bill to end the double tax on Social Security benefits law.”
